JOB DESCRIPTION

Opportunity: The City of Albany’s is looking for a hardworking and committed individual to join their Developed Reserves Team. This role is available from level 4 to 6 dependent on your experience and qualifications.

As part of this role, you will work a Monday to Friday rostered 9-day fortnight, reporting to the Leading Hand, this position will see you responsible for, but not limited to;

  • Maintenance of parks around Albany including:-Tree pruning and maintenance-Playgrounds-Reticulation-Gardens-Mowing
  • Operating and basic maintenance of plant and equipment; tractors, mowers, whipper - snippers and brush - cutters;
  • Undertaking manual tasks; and
  • Working in a team environment.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

About You: To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following minimum requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent.
  • Whitecard, Basic Traffic Management and Basic Resuscitation qualifications.
  • The ability to undertake physically demanding work.
  • Machine operation experience.
