Description POSITION SUMMARY Our Parlor Managers exemplify the magic that is The Clementine's experience. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of their parlor location, ensuring sales performance, excellent customer service, and effective staff management. By leading through example and coaching Scooper behaviors, they ensure our customers have a meaningful experience in our scoop parlors. Parlor managers are responsible for building community and making us the destination of choice. They promote creativity and inclusion and treat their customers and teams with respect and kindness. KEY RESPONSBILITIES: Store Operations: Ensure efficient daily operations at parlor locations. Maintain a well merchandised and inviting retail area according to Clementine’s standards, including presentation, cleanliness, and organization. Manage inventory, ordering stock, and minimizing waste. Maintain a full complement of flavors. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment ensuring building maintenance and repairs. Implement and enforce Clementine's policies and procedures. Manage parlor schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels. Sales and Customer Service: Achieve and exceed sales targets year after year for both parlors. Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints. Training staff on sales techniques and customer service standards. Team Management: Recruit, interview, hire and train Scoopers Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Scoopers at both parlors. Use performance management tools to manage the team. Address employee issues and resolve conflicts. Submit bi-weekly payroll Financial Management: Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure accurate cash handling and financial procedures. Manage expenses including inventory and payroll expenses. Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of leadership and sales driving experience Knowledge of retail operations and inventory management Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Ability to create and maintain a culture of happiness and community Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to adapt to situations that may arise with customers and scoopers
