JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable Component Marking Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately marking components using various methods such as laser engraving, multi-DOT stamping, inkjet printing, or labelling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Familiarity with component marking technologies and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow written instructions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Operate component marking equipment including laser engravers, inkjet printers, label applicators, and DOT stampers.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and marking specifications accurately.
· Maintain marking equipment, including routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
· Accurately record production and marking data to ensure full traceability.
· Work closely with Quality Control and Production teams to resolve any marking or labelling issues.
· Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Support general stores or inventory tasks as required.
· Picking component parts to facilitate build in the tests and assembly department
· Ensure stock parts are fit for purpose prior to assembly and despatch
