The Mercantile Group, one of Ireland’s leading hospitality companies, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join our finance team.
This is a key role within our central finance function, offering the opportunity to contribute to the financial management of some of Dublin’s most iconic venues – including Café en Seine, Whelan’s, The George, NoLIta, and The Mercantile Hotel. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge, a proactive attitude, and the ability to support both operational and reporting functions.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Assist in preparing year-end audit files and liaise directly with external auditors.
• Support the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to junior members of the finance team.
• Contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business decisions with financial insights.
