BDO Ireland are currently seeking a Part-Qualified Tax Trainee to join our Corporate International Transfer Pricing g Team (referred to as “CIPT”) with our Dublin Tax Advisory Department.
As a Part-Qualified Trainee you will be assisting with the compliance requirements of a broad portfolio of clients, researching EU and other international tax related developments, and gaining experience in advisory work for international tax and transfer pricing projects.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • ACA/ACCA/and/or CTA Part-Qualified.
  • ADIT Qualification/Part Qualification (Beneficial but Not a Requirement.
  • Strong Academic Background: A solid academic record, particularly in relevant fields such as accounting, finance, or taxation, is required.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: The ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders is essential.
  • Strong Technical Skills.
  • Commercially Minded: Candidates should have an understanding of business operations and be able to assist with providing tax advice that aligns with commercial objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the compliance requirements of a broad portfolio of clients (primarily corporates)
  • Researching for tax advice on cross border and local Irish tax matters
  • Reporting directly to members of the senior tax management group and tax partners
  • Interpreting legislation and identifying precedent
  • Researching and identifying tax planning issues and opportunities for clients
  • Researching EU and other international tax related developments
  • Liaising with other departments to plan and provide professional tax advice
  • Supervision, development and mentoring of tax trainees
