The Rankin School of Nursing at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a Part-Time Academic Instructor to teach NURS 265 – The Registered Nurse and Evidence-Informed Practice in the Fall 2026 term. This course is delivered through StFX Online – Online Learning & Professional Studies. Part-Time Academic Instructor responsibilities include all duties associated with university-level teaching, including but not limited to: * Preparation and delivery of existing course content * Evaluation of assignments, tests, and examinations * Grading and timely submission of final grades * Regular student consultation and student hours Qualifications * Candidates should have a PhD or Master’s degree with significant experience in the course area. Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level is an asset. Responsibilities

The instructor is responsible for the preparation and delivery of course content for NURS 265. Duties include evaluating assignments and tests, grading, and providing regular consultation to students.
