YOUR MISSION

We’re seeking a skilled Accountant with Purchasing Experience to join our team on a part-time basis (50%) m/f/d. If you have a strong background in purchasing, and preferably experience in the pharma/biotech industry, we want to hear from you!
As an Accountant at CPTx, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and integrity of our financial reporting and procurement procedures.

• Support ongoing financial accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handle general accounting tasks: accounts payables, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and audit requirements as per GAAP and German accounting standards.
• Actively question outdated processes and establish new, more efficient procedures to improve financial operations and procurement workflows, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Prepare and file necessary tax forms and returns, ensuring adherence to federal and local tax regulations.
• Be digitally native and able to manage invoice processing using software solutions (e.g., PLEO), ensuring timely approval and payment workflows.
