My client, a boutique practice based in North county Dublin, near the Meath boarder is seeking an experienced, detail oriented Part-Time Accountant to join their small and growing team.
This is a great opportunity for a fully qualified accountant who is seeking a small office environment in a part time set up.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced setting where no two days are the same..
Duties:
Preparation of Financial Statements: Compile and review financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements.
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for a variety of clients, using accounting software (Quickbooks online) and manual systems as required.
VAT Returns: Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all Revenue guidelines and deadlines.
Payroll Processing: Manage payroll for multiple clients, ensuring timely processing and adherence to all Irish payroll regulations.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and process income tax and corporation tax returns, liaising with clients to gather necessary information and submitting filings to Revenue.
Ad Hoc Duties: Support the wider team and partners with additional tasks as required, including administrative support, training junior staff, and contributing to process improvements.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred. Qualified by experience candidates will also be considered. Part qualified candidates with significant experience will also be considered
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a small accountancy practice environment.
Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting packages (e.g., QuickBooks, CCH Suite) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of Irish Taxation and Regulatory Environment: Up-to-date understanding of Revenue requirements, payroll regulations, and VAT/tax compliance in Ireland.
Own transport with fill driving license
