Description

The Accounting Payroll/Clerk will perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for the accounting department at Empire Landscape, LLC.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records.
  • Accurately records payroll using crew timesheets.
  • Communicate with crew supervisors to have errors and omissions on timesheets fixed.
  • Distributes payroll reports to Production Team weekly.
  • Make Payments to State, Federal, and 401(K) program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Additional tasks available as assigned and needed.

Require d Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems.
  • Need to have a strong grasp of basic mathematical principles.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
  • Attention to detail is a necessity.

Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in payroll or data entry a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at times
