Key Responsibilities: - Develop, plan, and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs and interests of seniors with memory care challenges - Assist in scheduling and coordinating daily, weekly, and special events to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical activity - Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages participation and enhances residents' quality of life - Collaborate with caregiving staff to monitor residents’ responses to activities and adjust plans accordingly - Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation - Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity through personalized engagement - Promote a positive, respectful atmosphere that values each resident’s unique personality and history Skills and Qualifications: - Prior experience working with seniors, particularly those with dementia or memory care needs, is preferred - Strong organizational and planning skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Creativity and enthusiasm for designing engaging activities - Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature - Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment - Knowledge of dementia and memory care best practices is a plus - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in activity planning or senior care are advantageous At Grand Villa Ormond Beach, we foster a culture of kindness, growth, and respect.
