The Wadsworth Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for part-time instructor positions to support its program mission. In particular, the candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are highly desirable: Environmental Engineering and Water Resources (e.g., air pollution and control, solid and hazardous waste management, wastewater engineering, etc.) Construction Management Geotechnical Engineering Transportation Engineering Eligible candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment. Candidates with an MS degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited university with 3+ years of experience will also be considered. Candidates with active research experience in their area of expertise, academic publications, and an interest in advising/mentoring doctoral students are highly desirable. West Virginia University is the comprehensive Land Grant University of the State of West Virginia and a Carnegie Classification of Highest Research Activity (i.e., R1 University).
