Description
The Department of History (https://history.wvu.edu) at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions. Areas of need will be determined according to the needs of the department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in-person or online courses in the Department of History’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis.
These positions require a master’s or doctoral degree in History or a closely related discipline, along with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master’s degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
