[What the role is] The part-time General Education Programme provides adult learners with the opportunity to upgrade their academic qualifications from Secondary One Normal (Academic) to GCE Ordinary (GCE ‘O’) Level. Classes are scheduled once a week per subject, over 26 to 30 weeks, at ITE Colleges and selected MOE schools. Lessons are conducted by part-time Adjunct Trainers from March to October annually, on weekday evenings (6.45pm to 9.45pm) or weekend (9am to 12pm / 1pm to 4pm). [What you will be working on] As a Part-time Adjunct Trainer, you will prepare lesson plans and assignments, and deliver them to adult learners. Besides marking the assignments in a timely manner, you are expected to provide students with regular feedback and encouragement as they work towards the GCE O level qualifications for academic progression and employment advancement. [What we are looking for] Part-time Adjunct Trainers with relevant academic and professional qualifications, and teaching experience in the following subject(s) at Secondary levels.
