Description

The role of part time Admin & HR Executive reports to the Chief Operations Officer. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
A key aspect of the role is the ability to form an excellent working relationship with our site management team to provide the support they require on a day to day basis.
Whilst this role can be home based for the majority of the time, there will be a need to travel to the company’s sites in South Wales and Southwest England from time to time eg to take notes during disciplinary hearings, investigations etc so own transport is required.
This is a part time role for c.25 hrs per week.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position essential
  • Fully conversant with the use of office 365, in particular Excel and powerpoint
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (both orally and in writing) and to build effective working relationships internally and externally
  • Problem solver who takes initiative and has a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative requirements for the COO, Operations Director and site management teams
  • Provide support to the business as required for day to day HR functions and duties
  • Liaison with external HR advisors and management on more complex queries and issues
  • Responsibility for the updating of the company’s HR system – Breathe HR and T&A system Rotacloud.
  • Liaison with the Finance team for payroll on starters/leavers, change to roles/rates of pay etc
  • Responsibility for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting for management on attendance, performance, disciplinaries etc
  • Generate reports to track attendance for company presentations
  • Liaising with the company’s HR advisors to ensure that all contracts, staff handbook, policies and procedures are reviewed and updated to ensure they comply with current legislation as well as the introduction of new policies and procedures as required.
  • Supporting management with the recruitment process, ensuring all documentation is up to date and correctly completed.
