Description

Thames Valley Midwives is a looking for a part time, enthusiastic and self-motivated medical office administrative assistant to join our London office team. This position is a fixed term contract covering a Maternity leave.

THIS IS A PERMANENT PART TIME POSITION.

Full Training is provided. The successful candidate will have advanced Microsoft Office experience and skillset. Accuro EMR experience is a requirement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greeting clients, answering telephone calls, directing clients and visitors, and taking messages for staff
  • Forwarding pages from clients to on call Midwives
  • Effectively communicate through email, letters, and telephone
  • Schedule clinic appointments
  • Schedule ultrasound and other types of medical appointments
  • Create letters and documentation for clients
  • Sort faxes and scanned documents
  • Stock clinic rooms and coordinate lab and courier pick ups
  • Stock birth boxes
  • Perform administrative duties related to a medical practice

Job Type: Part time. Mondays 10 am – 2 pm. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm. Candidates must be available to work the scheduled hours as listed; alternate schedules cannot be accommodated. Coverage for Office Manager while away – to be discussed.
