Reliable transportation very important as schedules are subject to change and often involve evenings and overnight hours not easily accessible via public transit NEW RATE of $20.80/hour and progression to $21.94/hour after 6 months! Must have an active Illinois PERC card Essential Job Function This job function covers a wide range of security responsibilities including, but not limited to: ID challenges, access control, document verification, identifying threats, unauthorized escorting, customer care, and emergency procedures. Minimum Requirements Must provide original birth certificate or valid US Passport. Must provide a valid driver’s license or valid state ID and social security card. Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and US Customs security badges. Must pass a thorough, verifiable, seven-year background check as well as fingerprint verification, drug screening, criminal record check, and personal reference checks. High School diploma or GED Must speak, read, and write English fluently, have corrected 20/20 vision and normal hearing Valid Illinois PERC card Experience: Aircraft guard experience is a plus Existing ORD airport badge is a plus PERC card a plus (required within 60 days of start of employment) Flexibility and willingness to cross train for different positions (i.e. warehouse guard) Covenant Aviation Security is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
