Responsibilities

Corporate Finance gives students the unique opportunity to kick-start a career within investment banking by joining our dynamic team part-time during Summer 2025. We will invest in you. We will guide you.
You will be part of the Corporate Finance team where we assist companies achieve their strategic objectives through local or global mergers and acquisitions (M&A). We advise company owners, private equity firms and corporate clients throughout the entire M&A process. From preparation of business plans, performing valuation and managing buyer contact to ultimately planning the deal tactics and negotiations. We strive to be the preferred adviser in the market and are pleased that we have been awarded “Financial M&A Adviser of the Year”. As the most recent step in our ambition, we acquired the tech M&A specialist boutique Tofte & Company which now makes us the leading adviser for technology companies.

As an Analyst, you will support the team on several key M&A tasks, including the following:

  • Preparation of marketing material including pitch presentations, information memoranda, management presentations and client meeting material
  • Assisting in preparing corporate valuations (DCF, LBO, multiples, operational modelling, etc.)
  • Peer group/buyer/target screenings
  • Financial statement analysis
  • Market research and analysis for internal and external use

Weekly working hours are on average 15-20 hours with flexibility during exams.
Through formal and informal on-the-job training combined with several professional and personal courses, such as EY’s global M&A Academy, we will help you develop the necessary skills to become a competent corporate finance professional.
