Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service
- Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Conduct interviews and assist with the hiring process for new team members
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control procedures
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Assist with scheduling and managing employee shifts
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement training programs for team members
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure a positive work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Strong interviewing skills to effectively assess potential candidates
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and ability to manage stock levels
- Experience in training development and implementation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Basic understanding of retail math for cash handling and sales reporting purposes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
