JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive patient experience. This is for Saturday’s from 8-2.

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures.
  • Provide pediatric dental care with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for young patients.
  • Utilize dental software systems such as Epic and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuing education and training opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid dental license to practice dentistry In Canada.
  • Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to patients and staff.
