JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a part-time baker/pastry chef on Monday and Tuesdays from 2am to 10am.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or cake decorating, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Roll out, cut and fry doughnuts as per Doughnut Love specifications.
  • Decorate and glaze to Doughnut Love specifications and enhance visual appeal.
  • Prepare various food items in accordance with recipes and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Prepare doughs, batters and glaze and assist with preparations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
