Part Time Position, Weekends* Compensation: $16.90 per hour + Tips General Responsibilities: Greet and serve guests at the bar Pour drinks, using standard pour specifications Handle cash and credit card transactions Clean and stock the bar daily Record accurate tip-out sheets daily Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors Non-Essential Functions: Assist with the cleaning of operational areas Serve food as requested Requirements Desired Skills and Experiences: 2-3 years of experience as a bartender in a restaurant environment Must have a valid California Food Handlers card Must have a thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service Current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS Certified or ability to obtain) Exceptional guest service skills Basic computer skills Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Experience: Bartending: 2 years (Preferred) Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred) Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions so this job.
