OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Beertender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for craft beer. As a Beertender, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience to our guests while showcasing our diverse selection of beers. Your expertise in brewing and hospitality will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to explore and enjoy our offerings.

REQUIREMENTS

• TIPS Certified and current required.
• Cicerone Level 1 preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Knowledge of brewing processes and beer styles is highly desirable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A passion for craft beer and an eagerness to learn more about the industry.

• Serve a variety of beers, ensuring proper pouring techniques and presentation.
• Engage with guests, providing recommendations based on their preferences and educating them about different beer styles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing retail math skills as needed.
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, particularly during events or banquets.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Participate in promotional events or tastings to enhance customer engagement and knowledge of our offerings.
