Remote | 10–15 hours per week | High-level compensation for the right expert We are a busy, established behavioral health group practice seeking a highly experienced mental health billing specialist. This role is not entry-level, not trainable, and not a learning opportunity. If you do not have multiple years of hands-on experience managing the full revenue cycle in TherapyNotes EHR, do not apply. Applications without this experience will not be reviewed. This role exists for one reason To take full ownership of our billing and revenue cycle inside TherapyNotes and keep money moving without hand-holding. **ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS (Deal Breakers) Applicants must have: Several years of direct, daily experience using TherapyNotes EHR Claims creation, submission, and tracking ERA/EOB posting Patient balances and unapplied credits Account reconciliation Full revenue cycle mastery Insurance verification Charge entry Denial and rejection management Appeals and follow-up until paid Advanced denial management skills Ability to identify root causes Correct errors, resubmit, and follow through Aggressively chase unpaid claims Strong experience with Availity Eligibility and benefits verification Claim status checks Payer communication Independent problem-solving You already know what to do when something doesn’t pay You do not need step-by-step instructions If you do not already know TherapyNotes inside and out, this role is not a fit.
