JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have understanding of accounting best practices. In addition, you will handle tasks like recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential in supporting the company’s account management and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Accounting degree or academic knowledge of accounting
  • Proven 2 years experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Experience with Quickbooks or other accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account analysis
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliation accurately and efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration

  • Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
  • Update and support the general ledger
  • Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
  • Maintain the trial balance by a reconciliation of general ledgers
  • Conduct bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for
  • Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
