THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a part time bookkeeper who excels in routine, repetitive, and detail-intensive tasks. Reporting to the Sr. Finance Associate you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting Shipfusion’s accounting operations.

In this role you will…

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including inputting and reconciling invoices.
  • Reconcile bank accounts daily, ensuring errors and irregularities are identified and addressed.
  • Analyze financial transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with month-end and year end tasks as needed
  • Respond to client requests and inquiries regarding financial account matters.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and enhanced reporting to speed up financial deliverables.
  • Assist the finance team with miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM (REQUIRED SKILLS):

  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar cloud platforms)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflow
  • Familiarity with corporate credit card platforms like Brex or Ramp
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines across multiple entities
  • Comfort with routine, detail-heavy tasks
