QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
- Diploma or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software ([e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero])
- Bilingual advanced (french and english)
- Valid drivers license
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en comptabilité, de préférence dans le secteur du transport ou de la logistique
- Diplôme ou certification en comptabilité, finance ou domaine connexe
- Maîtrise des logiciels comptables ([ex. QuickBooks, Sage, Xero])
- Bilingue avancé (Anglais et français)
- Permis de conduite valide
- Solide connaissance du traitement de la paie et des réglementations fiscales

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage 50
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare and submit payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments efficiently
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and budgeting
- File GST/HST and other government remittances
- Support year-end accounting processes and liaise with external accountants
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and industry regulations
