Description Make a difference on the road — and in someone’s life. About the Role Verna Hills is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and safety-minded Bus Driver to join our team. We provide daily transportation for second-chance citizens in a minimum- security work-release program. This role directly supports individuals working to rebuild their lives, making your work both meaningful and rewarding. Schedule This is a split-shift position requiring early morning and evening availability: • Morning Route: 4:30–5:00 AM start, finished by 6:30 AM • Evening Route: 4:00 PM start, finished by 6:00–7:00 PM (depending on Atlanta traffic) • Hours: 32–35 hours per week Responsibilities • Safely transport passengers between facilities and job sites • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections • Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times • Ensure on-time arrivals and departures • Communicate effectively with dispatch and facility staff • Promote a safe, respectful riding environment Qualifications • 3+ years of commercial driving experience with a strong safety record • Valid CDL with Passenger (P) and Airbrake endorsements (preferred) • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Comfortable working with justice-involved individuals in a supportive, professional manner Why Verna Hills?
