Key Responsibilities: Show patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times. Assist with light housekeeping and simple meal preparation Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Run errands or provide local transportation, if needed Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors about client needs and progress. Key Traits: Attentive to clients’ needs Friendly, patient, and compassionate Able to work independently and follow care plans Strong communication skills and attention to detail Observant and detail-oriented Must be at least 18 years old Previous caregiving experience preferred. Negative TB test or chest X-ray (per state requirements) Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration Valid driver’s license and car insurance United Home Care offers: $20–$25/hr, paid weekly Flexible hours Paid Sick Leave & Holiday Pay Mileage reimbursement A fulfilling role where you make a difference – even in just a few hours a day
