Found is the exclusive in-house operator of market leading UK developer FEC. We are striving to be the no.1 experience led, brand-centric 360 lifestyle operator in the UK.
We’re looking for an experienced Caretaker to join our growing team! The Part-time Caretaker will be the hero behind keeping our communal areas fresh and gleaming, from polishing and dusting to vacuuming. You will also be responsible for organising the bins and waste collection, testing our in-house fire equipment & safety assets, organising the parcel system, jet washing our gardens, and conducting small maintenance jobs such as painting and bulb changing. It’s all about keeping things spotless and creating a welcoming space.
You’ll be the friendly face residents can count on for help, whether it’s with cleaning requests or assisting with small tasks around the property. You’ll play a key role in making sure everything stays on track - checking off daily cleaning tasks, keeping supplies organised, and looking sharp while you do it. And don’t worry, we’ve got some fun in there too - like providing utility readings for residents and making sure health and safety issues are taken care of right away.

Key Responsibilities of the Part-time Caretaker:

  • Clean all communal areas daily, including polishing, dusting, vacuuming.
  • Keep lifts spotless and ensure panels are streak-free.
  • Approach all resident requests with a friendly, helpful attitude, focusing on exceptional service.
  • Organise the bins and waste collection.
  • Keep our bin rooms tidy and smelling fresh.
  • Testing of our in-house fire equipment and safety assets.
  • Helping to collect and organise the in-house parcel system.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to residents with a positive, can-do attitude, ensuring the highest level of customer care.
  • Report any health and safety issues immediately to your line manager.
  • Complete the daily cleaning checklists on time.
  • Keep the gardens looking neat by jet washing relevant areas.
  • Conducting small maintenance jobs such as a fresh lick of paint or bulb changing.
  • Maintain a clean, smart, and professional appearance at all times.
  • Provide utility readings to residents as needed.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience as a cleaning and maintenance pro in hospitality or residential spaces? Perfect!
  • Great communication skills and a laser-focus on detail.
  • Hardworking, kind and considerate.
  • You can work independently on your own, but you’re cool with following instructions too.
  • High standards in both cleaning and customer service are a must!
  • Able to juggle tasks in a fast-paced environment? Time management skills are key.

What’s in it for you?

  • 25 days annual leave increasing with service (Pro-rata)
  • Pension
  • Family friendly policies
  • Access to gym membership discounts, cycle2work, health cash plans and more
  • YAY Day - A dedicated day for strengthening relationships and collaboration through fun group challenges, creative workshops, and team activities, fostering a stronger community.
  • Together, we win - Celebrating team success with shared experiences
  • Fearless Fund - We empower personal and professional development by offering support for experiences that challenge and inspire you, from attending conferences to pursuing certifications.
  • Feel great, do great - we will be offering you different wellness programs designed to support your health, resilience, and growth.
