Purpose: Responsible for the efforts and results of the cash and payroll sections
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
· Processing of cash reconciliation
· Preparing periodic cash reports
· Liaising with management staff to alert about discrepancies
· Assist Senior Payroll Staff in preparation and processing of payroll.
· Maintain confidentiality with employee pay and personnel information
· Support data integrity and preparation of payroll and cash reconciliation information to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness of information
· Liaising with NTA (National Transport Authority)
· Provide service to employees on payroll related inquiries in a timely manner
· Work closely with HR and Finance for smooth cash and payroll operations
· Assist on various ad hoc projects, including communications and follow up with employees
· Perform other related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· IPASS certified.
· Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience of end-to-end Irish payroll process within a large organization is essential
· Strong working knowledge of MS Office including intermediate to advanced Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)
· Familiarity with payroll systems such as Megapay (advantage), Micropay, Sage etc.
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, possessing the ability to effectively prioritize projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines set by the Payroll Manager.
· Experience processing end-to-end high-volume payrolls with regular changes.
· In-depth knowledge of payroll principles, laws, and best practices.
· Gets on well with others.
