JOB SUMMARY

Position requires an individual to be a team player, have excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, basic food preparation, assist in preparing location and area for day to day operation, responsible for accurate accounting and all transactions and keeping concession stand stocked.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Smart Serve Certified is essential.
  • Basic working knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Basic working knowledge of alcoholic beverages e.g. Domestic Beer, Imported Beer, etc.
  • Cash handling skills; Ability to count money and make change accurately.
  • Basic food preparation.
  • Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
  • Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
  • This position requires stooping and lifting, substantial standing and walking.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: From $18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week

Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests who approach the concession stand in a professional manner.
  • Take orders for food and beverages and prepare food items e.g. Hot Dogs, Popcorn, etc.
  • Enter order and payment into POS system accurately.
  • Maintain stand and inventory in good order.
  • Ensure all food safety and proper food handling is followed at all times.
  • Complete cash float sheet before and after shift and hand in your cash float back to Event Supervisor at the end of the shift.
  • Keep all areas well stocked.
  • Keep condiment stand clean and well stocked at all times.
  • Perform clean-up duties after each shift and ensure that concession stand is sanitized and tidied up for the next event.
  • Safe use of equipment and safety awareness.
