Certified Medication Aide (Med-Tech) Location: Keizer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center – Keizer, OR Schedule: Part-time, Day Shift Compensation: $24.99–$32.21 per hour (based on certified experience)   About the Role We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our care team at Keizer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Licensed Nurse to safely administer medications, document outcomes, and support residents in a positive and caring environment. Your commitment helps ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and comfort for our residents.   Key Responsibilities • Safely administer medications as prescribed and accurately document administration, effectiveness, and any side effects • Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions, including potential medication interactions or adverse reactions • Support residents’ rights during medication administration and provide care with dignity and respect • Ensure proper storage, handling, and accountability of medications per facility policies and state/federal regulations • Monitor, clean, and maintain medication-related equipment and promptly report issues • Take and record vital signs as needed during medication administration • Follow infection control guidelines, including Universal Precautions and OSHA standards • Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and staff   Required Qualifications • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing • Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide (MA-C) training program, including classroom and clinical components • Current CNA and Medication Aide certification maintained throughout employment • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff • Interest in and commitment to supporting long-term care residents • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English • Must pass a background check and reference review   Benefits & Perks • Dental and Vision insurance options for you and your family.  • Career advancement opportunities • Unlimited referral bonuses   Apply today and join a team that values compassion, teamwork, and the difference you make every single day!
