Description Part-time Church Custodian Locations: Church in the Belle Meade Area Department: Custodial Services – ServiceFM LLC Reports To: Custodial Supervisor Employment Type: Part-Time, Hourly ($18/hour) Position Summary: ServiceFM LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Custodian to join our team in Nashville. This role supports church facilities in the Belle Meade area, helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Duties include cleaning offices, classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing assigned areas. Empty trash, remove debris, and clean interior glass and doors. Maintain building security and respond promptly to cleaning or maintenance requests. Occasionally support special events or weekend cleanings as needed. Work Schedule Part-time: ~24 hours/week, evening shifts, 6 hours/day, 4 days/week. Typical schedule: Monday – Friday: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) Start time may be flexible depending on site needs. Additional hours may be available. Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred. Reliable transportation to travel to the work site. Consistent attendance, punctuality, and professionalism. Must pass a background check. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable using a smartphone or device for time tracking. Physical Demands Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, reach, pull, and push as needed throughout the shift. Operate cleaning equipment and perform repetitive hand/arm motions. Work indoors and outdoors under varied environmental conditions.
