VACANCY FOR PART-TIME CLINICAL PHARMACIST

We are a friendly, efficient, high-achieving, and forward-thinking training practice, and an opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a new part-time Clinical Pharmacist to work alongside our current clinical team. Ideally, one session a day over four days; however, this can be negotiable to two full days per week (Fridays are essential). We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, lateral-thinking and committed clinical pharmacist with excellent communication and organisational skills and an interest in providing high-quality patient-centred as well as population-wide healthcare delivery. We are a GMS Practice and have a list size of 13,700 patients, and we work over two sites (within 2 miles of each other). The clinical system we use is SystmOne. We are part of the Stevenage South PCN (5 surgeries) covering a population of approximately 65,000 patients and have dedicated PCN staff for support.
The successful candidate will work as an influential and integral member of our clinical team. You will have the opportunity to support and care for a varied patient group. The candidate will have knowledge, understanding, and experience of clinical pharmacist work in a primary care setting.
The post holder will provide patient care via patient-facing clinics, triage, and would be expected to work across both surgery sites.

Our practice currently has six partners, one salaried GP, a full-time clinical pharmacist, and an excellent team of nurses and an HCA who offer our GPs daily support. We also have a high-calibre of administration supporting staff.
