Description Kimberton Whole Foods in Collegeville is looking for a part-time Cold Foods Stocker! Availability: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. Day shifts on weekdays. One weekend shift required weekly Schedule: Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays. Shifts are within a 7am-4:30pm timeframe. Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older. Hourly Pay: $14.00-$17.00 Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. The Cold Foods Stocker’s Primary Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to all Receiving and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy, bakery, and specialty products Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis Working in collaboration with the Perishable Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage Follows the established KWF procedures for maintaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the department Understands KWF inventory management practices Assist in other areas of the store as needed Requirements Physical Capabilities: Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities involve receiving and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items, including meat, fish, dairy, and specialty products, while adhering to time and temperature guidelines. The role also requires rotating back stock using the first-in, first-out method and maintaining fresh, dynamic displays throughout the department.
