Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials between warehouses and other designated locations. These will include delivering to airport cargo areas across the country
- Load and unload cargo from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management to coordinate pickups and drop-offs
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns. This will include vehicle check sheets being handed into the office and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, logs, and delivery confirmations
Skills:
- Valid driver’s license with a maximum of 3 points
- Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar role
- ADR Licence and Known Cargo certificate are an advantage
- Ability to safely operate a van in various weather conditions and traffic situations
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with warehouse staff and team members
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and loading/unloading of cargo
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Attention to detail to accurately complete delivery documentation
