Description Job Title: Part-Time Custodian Location: Napoleon Shift: Monday – Friday 5pm – 8pm Pay Range: [$15.00 – $18.00 per hour] Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and customers. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in a job well done. Core Responsibilities: General Cleaning: Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in common areas and offices. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and mirrors; restock paper products and soap. Waste Management: Empty trash daily and transport waste to designated outdoor areas. Surface Care: Dust furniture, windowsills, and fixtures; clean glass doors and partitions. Safety & Security: Ensure all doors are locked and lights are turned off at the end of the shift; report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Ability to handle physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs. Strong sense of reliability and punctuality. Ability to follow safety protocols, especially when handling cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

The custodian is responsible for general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms. They must also manage waste disposal, maintain surface cleanliness, and ensure the facility is secure at the end of the shift.
