We are an equal opportunity employer.  -Benefits offered: Competitive wages, holiday pay, vacation pay, a 401(k) plan, direct deposit available and flexible spending accounts. -Status: Part-time -Position: Custodian -Location: Pensacola/Makiki (Honolulu, HI 96822) -Schedule: Monday and Thursday 9am-12pm (6 hours per week) -Compensation per hour: $17.00 -Key Responsibilities: Exhibit effective communication skills and possess a strong understanding of English. Follow instructions accurately, manage multiple tasks, work independently, and handle repetitive duties. Always adhere to safety protocols. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service. Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed safely. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, vendors, and property managers. Be capable of working in various environments and conditions. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Ensure the facility remains clean and well-maintained. The employee will oversee four floors access stairways (no elevator). Tasks include: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, wiping down surfaces (clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces), cleaning up spills, and vacuuming. Empty trash receptacles, replace with trash liners and remove bagged trash out to the sidewalk for pick-up the next morning Laundry Room: Wipe down washers/dryers, clean sink, sweep and mop the floor: three walkways, two stairwells and wipe down railings Landscaping: Cut grass and trim plants Perform additional duties as assigned by management or the property manager -Skills/Qualifications: Must pass HBM prescreen. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous janitorial, custodian, housekeeping experience or related experience is preferred, and willing to train. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English Must have good public relations skills and communication. Engaging in outdoor work while standing for three continuous hours. Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, frequently lift, squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling, push, press, pull, be able to reach overhead, grasp objects~ minimum of 25lbs (up to 50lbs), kneel, crawl, climb, stretch, walk up and down stairway, use of elevator, use a ladder climb up and down and stand throughout their shifts.
