Description The Customer Service & Accounting Data Entry Clerk plays a vital role in supporting both customer service and accounting functions. This position ensures smooth order processing, accurate data entry, and timely communication with vendors and customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple systems to maintain operational accuracy and efficiency. This role serves as a key link between operations, vendors, and customers, handling everything from purchase orders to invoicing, while delivering excellent customer service. Customer Service Support Enter stock and brokered ticket data accurately into company systems Process, issue, and confirm purchase orders (POs) with vendors. Generate and receive packing slips for incoming and outgoing shipments. Handle repeat orders for custom items, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Gradually take on responsibility for new order entry and RRWC orders as experience grows. Answer incoming customer phone calls professionally, providing timely information and solutions. Accounting Support Process accounts receivable (AR) invoicing for customer orders. Handle accounts payable (AP) invoicing, including vendor invoice review and entry. Accurately record and apply customer payments to accounts. Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain proper financial records and reporting. Requirements Required High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of experience in data entry, accounting, or customer service. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience with ERP or accounting software. Background in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Knowledge of AP/AR processes.
