Description Kimberton Whole Foods is hiring a part-time Meat & Dairy Stocker for our Ottsville location! Schedule Requirements: Part-time, 3 shifts per week. Up to 24 hours per week. One weekend shift per week is required. Availability: Sunday 8am-4:30pm, Monday 12-8:30pm, Wednesday 12-8:30pm Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older. Hourly Pay: $16.00/hr Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. DAILY OPERATIONS: The Meat & Dairy Stocker's primary responsibilities to execute the following. Provide exceptional customer service to all. Receiving and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy, bakery, and specialty products. Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands. Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis. Working in collaboration with the Perishable Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the entire department. Understands KWF inventory management practices. Assist in other areas of the store as needed. Requirements Physical Capabilities: Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
The Meat & Dairy Stocker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items. This includes maintaining product signage and ensuring fresh displays throughout the department.
