We are looking to hire a part-time delivery driver/store person in our busy Livingston branch. The hours required for the role are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am - 5pm. Full training will be given.

Duties will include:

• Safely load and unload materials on to the van, ensuring proper handling of heavy or fragile goods.
• Must have or be willing to get your forklift license.
• Unload lorries and use computer system to book goods in. Put goods away in the correct locations.
• Pick and pack/check orders to be sent out by courier.
• Must be physically fit. You will be required to deliver items such as boilers, radiators, oil tanks, bathroom suites and more with the use of pallet truck/sack barrow.
• You will be required to collect signatures for all deliveries and accurately file paperwork.
• Conduct daily checks of your van and report any issues to branch manager.
• Work closely with sales team to ensure smooth delivery operations and resolve any delivery issues efficiently.
• Answer the telephone and take orders over the phone or help customers with any queries they may have.
• Serve customers at the trade counter.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace inline with Health and Safety rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Computer literate.
• Full UK driving license.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Your role will be customer facing so a smart appearance and outgoing, friendly personality is essential.
• Knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry is desired, but not essential.

This is a part-time position. Working days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am - 5pm. No weekend work required.
