QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic is highly desirable.
• Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics will be considered an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow, including front desk duties when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric patients as required.
• Utilize CAD technology for dental procedures when applicable.
