Healthcare benefits available on Day 1. Description Emory Healthcare is looking for a part time PA or an NP for an outpatient role with our Dermatology practice. A minimum of 1+ years experience working as an APP in a Dermatology practice is required. This remote position will oversee the clinical message pool within the EPIC Inbasket for the Dermatology Clinic at Emory and provide telehealth services. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Respond to medical advice messages within 24–48 hours and determine appropriate next steps • Conduct ½ day of telehealth clinic per week • Collaborate with nursing, providers, and admin to develop protocols and scheduling logistics. • Use EPIC chat for rapid consultation with physicians on complex cases. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program. Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia. Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association and Healthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be required in some areas.
