We are presently accepting resumes for a number of Permanent Part-Time Support Worker to work in our group homes in Orillia.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Developmental Service Worker diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker, Nursing, Psychology, etc.) as determined by the employer is required;
  • When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees. In your resume, please ensure that you specify the length of your programs;
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays;
  • Ability to attend team meetings and training as required during daytime hours;
  • A valid class “G” driver’s license and own reliable transportation is an asset;
Responsibilities

Our Direct Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting. Responsibilities may include providing support during overnight shifts, personal care, household duties, meal preparation and finances. You may also support people to appointments or events to foster connections within the community.
