SUMMARY

We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Donor Sample Driver to pick up donor samples from their homes and deliver them to our facility in Chilliwack. This role is essential to maintaining our cold chain, chain-of-custody, and overall product quality. Training, PPE, and collection materials are provided. (Note: This role has the potential to become full time.)

• Type: Part-Time (on-call; weekday mornings/afternoons)
• Required: Must have own vehicle for this role
• Location: Fraser Valley and surrounding areas
• Compensation: Hourly pay +* mileage reimbursement. Hourly rate: $25/hr*

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable, insured personal vehicle (proof required).
• Clean driving record (driver’s abstract may be requested).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely.
• Strong reliability and punctuality; able to work scheduled blocks and occasional short-notice pick-ups.
• Physical ability to lift and carry coolers up to 15-40 lbs.
• Nice-to-have: Prior courier/medical transport experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safe, timely pick-up and delivery of donor samples from residences to Novel Biome.
• Maintain cold chain (use of provided coolers; temperature checks) from pick-up through drop-off.
• Ensure chain-of-custody accuracy: verify donor ID, label checks, sealed containers, time stamps, and documentation per SOPs.
• Complete precise records in the provided forms (pick-up times, temperature logs, mileage).
• Communicate proactively with operations/production about ETAs and issues.
• Care for company materials (coolers, temperature monitors, forms) and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Represent Novel Biome professionally at all times; protect donor privacy and confidentiality.
