Description LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to join our team as a Donor Scheduling Team Leader in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for a team of callers, as well as district targets and results. The Donor Scheduling Team Leader will track team/department statistics, update promotional boards, and work with regions to confirm time slots. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to - Call donors to schedule donation appointments - Coach and mentor Donor Scheduling Representatives. - Assist Donor Scheduling Supervisor(s) in the monitoring, evaluation, and training of Donor Scheduling Representatives. - Effectively communicate with donor center staff and management to ensure promotional boards and center appointments are met. - Answer donor questions and address donor concerns - Inform donors about blood drives in the area and center promotions - Assist in achieving departmental collection goals - Weekend and evening work may be required. Minimum Qualifications - High school diploma or GED - Must be comfortable using a computer and phones. - Ability to organize and manage time effectively - Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as organize and record data - Interact professionally with all customers, both internal and external - Ability to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends - Ability understanding people well and use that understanding effectively in motivating and persuading others The ideal candidate will possess - One year of call center and/or sales experience Who We Are LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. This is a part-time position. Starting salary range is $16.00 - $17.60 an hour. Criminal background check and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.
