JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, particularly in working with young children, including those with special educational needs. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The Early Years Educator will play a vital role in fostering a love for learning and ensuring that all children feel valued and included. Please note: THIS ROLE IS FOR 4PM TO 6PM MONDAY-FRIDAY.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting is essential.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A patient, compassionate approach to working with children of varying abilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Child Development are mandatory either a BA (hons) degree OR a Level 3 is required.

    Pay: £150.00-£160.00 per week
    Expected hours: 10 per week

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers regarding their development.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of education provided.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s activities and progress in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child’s achievements and areas for improvement.
