JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a part-time educational specialist position for the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. Duties will include teaching lecture-based and/or laboratory classes, advising students, and helping to assess course learning outcomes.
A Ph.D. or master’s degree in biomedical engineering or a closely related field is required. Preferred areas of expertise include, but are not limited to engineering design, thermodynamics, numerical simulation, biomechanics, instrumentation, and medical imaging.
