We are currently looking for part-time teachers/tutors to join our learning center at Eye Level Richmond. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with students, teaching language and Math, and have a passion for helping others develop their skills in these areas.
Teachers/Tutors do not need to create lesson plans before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will receive comprehensive training in our unique philosophy and methods.
All Teachers/Tutors at Eye Level Richmond work 2-5 days during after-school Mon - Fri (3:30pm - 7:30pm) and may work Saturday (10:30am - 7:30pm).
Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location.
We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
- University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
- Teaching certification an asset
- Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 9 curriculum
Experience:
- Experience in teaching or tutoring students from Kindergarten to Grade 9.
- Proficient in written and oral English communication, with the ability to effectively guide students’ understanding.
- Capable of multitasking and managing up to four students simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
As an Interactive Coach, your main responsibilities will include:
- Teaching up to 4 students simultaneously at various proficiency levels
- Conducting both online and in-person classes
- Adhering to the methodologies and philosophies of Eye Level
- Correct student assignments and recording post-lesson notes
- Providing daily updates on student communication
- Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times

Eye level Learning Centers offer Math and English programs focused on developing each child’s critical thinking and analytical skills. Eye Level is based on an educational philosophy in which students learn at their own pace. Each student receives an individualized program based on his or her ability, independent of age and grade. Through a small-step approach, students master foundational skills before advancing to complex topics, leading to increased interest and understanding of more challenging content. Eye Level Richmond Learning Center is located in the President Square of Richmond’s central area, making it conveniently accessible. The shopping mall provides ample free parking spaces, and the environment here is quiet and enclosed, allowing students to safely and attentively focus on their studies. Richmond Learning Center is currently the only Eye Level learning center in Richmond. Our team consists of professional educators with a background in education. Under the mature educational system of Eye Level, we are able to implement our teaching philosophy, nurturing children to become confident and independent learners who truly enjoy learning. They will also acquire a solid knowledge framework, laying a foundation for unlimited success in the future.
