The Environmental Services Associate is responsible for maintaining the daily cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming Cornerstone facility. This role supports infection prevention standards and ensures all supplies and dispensers are consistently stocked to support patient care, staff, and visitors. This position contributes to maintaining a safe, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing environment of care in accordance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations. Restock supplies in each department as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels on a daily or weekly basis, as directed by the supervisor. Refill all dispensers as necessary, including hand sanitizer, soap, paper products, and deodorizers. Empty regular trash and regulated medical waste (red bag waste) as needed to prevent overflow and maintain sanitary conditions. Respond promptly to spills, leaks, and other environmental hazards to maintain safety and cleanliness. Clean and disinfect exam rooms or clinical spaces that are temporarily taken offline due to bed bugs, infectious diseases, or other contamination concerns, following proper protocols so that rooms may safely return to service. Monitor supply levels to ensure essential materials are available when needed. Travel to other Cornerstone sites as required to support environmental services operations. Participate in required department meetings, all-staff meetings, and training sessions. Follow all clinical, administrative, and operational policies outlined in the Cornerstone Policy and Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook. Adhere to all organizational policies, as well as OSHA regulations and Department of Health guidelines regarding cleaning, sanitation, and safety in a healthcare environment. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all Cornerstone operations, including patient information, financial matters, and employee relations. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements High School Diploma, 1-2 years’ experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Valid driver’s license required. A reliable vehicle is required for travel between locations. Ability and willingness to travel between Cornerstone sites as needed
